The Westin Resort & Spa, Puerto Vallarta, Puerto Vallarta

I had a wonderful stay at the hotel. The rooms, with a jacuzzi on the balcony, were nice but felt a bit dated. They were spacious, but I sensed some dampness, perhaps due to the humidity outside. The service was exceptional, with a very polite and helpful staff who even surprised us with an anniversary presentation. The location was comfortable, just 5 minutes from the boardwalk in the Marina with a great swim-up bar. The dining options were reasonable, with delicious Vallarta ceviche, but could have been improved for a better overall experience.

My stay at the hotel was a mixed experience. The rooms, although lacking the luxurious feel of a Westin hotel, provided a beautiful view of the ocean. However, the persistent high-pressure time-share sales tactics during my stay were very annoying. The service was a hit and miss, with lazy and unhelpful staff but exceptional and friendly service in other areas. The location, while close to the Marina's boardwalk, felt lacking in information and required taxi rides to downtown. Dining options were reasonable, though with some disappointments, and the facilities were satisfactory.

My stay at the hotel was a mix of highs and lows. The rooms, though very clean and well-maintained with a beautiful view of the bay, were persistently damp despite efforts to control the temperature. On the bright side, the free daily breakfast and happy hour were definite perks.

My 7th and final stay at this beach resort was comfortable, with some pros such as the perfect Westin Heavenly bed, cozy rooms, but also some cons like the weird bathroom layout and intrusive glass windows. The high-pressure timeshare sales were annoying as well.
